Here, Kitty, Kitty! Baby Hijinks!! is the second bonus episode in the game Elite Beat Agents. The song for this episode is "ABC" by the Jackson 5, performed by TC Moses and Brittany Kertesz in game.

Summary[]

This story is focused on Max. Max is a housecat that lives with a nice family. The mother, tasks Max with watching over Alden, the baby, while she goes grocery shopping, saying that if he does a good job, she'll reward him with his favorite fish. Max fantasizes about the delicious fish before hearing Alden make a loud sound, snapping Max out of his day dream to find Alden going out the window (he's chasing a butterfly) and onto a rising beam on a construction site. Max, having made a preemptive leap after Alden, misses the beam and descends toward the bottom as he lets out a large meow for help.

Phase 1

Alden is shown still chasing the butterfly...Right on top of a treadmill that's heading towards a trash compactor, much to Max's horror. This phase involves Max jumping over the trash cans and buckets to get to Aiden. If the player gets an Elite Beat, Max is shown rapidly leaping over the cans while meowing determined. If the player does poorly, Max is shown on the floor dizzy, tired and trying to catch his breath. In the end of the phase, Max spots Alden about to get squashed by a garbage crusher and quickly leaps to save him. If the Elite-O-Meter is over half full, Max stops it while pushing Alden out of the way. If if isn't, Max grabs Alden and saves him, but he ends up getting himself squashed. (in both scenarios, Alden ends up unscathed because he grabbed an umbrella beforehand)

Phase 2

Alden somehow got a hold of a little construction cart and he uses it to chase the butterfly some more, and Max gives chase. This phase has Max trying to catch up to Alden. If the player gets an Elite Beat, the cart increases speed, but Max is still able to keep up. If the player does poorly, however, Max is shown being dragged against the rails as he holds on to the cart, meowing in pain. In the end, Alden is heading towards an eletric wire, which will end up eletrocuting him if Max doesn't stop him, so he leaps in front of the cart. If the Elite-O-Meter is over half full, Max is able to at least slow down the cart long enough for him to use some planks to lift the wires, so Alden can pass. If it isn't, Max instead gets run over and thrown into the wires, getting himself eletrocuted while Alden passes by.

Phase 3

Alden got on a hook that's carrying a piece of iron. Now this one has Max trying to go up some stairs to get him off. If the player gets an Elite Beat, Max is running up the stairs while letting out meows of determination. In the end, Alden suddenly falls off, and Max finds a rope and tries to swoop in and save him, Tarzan-style. If the Elite-O-Meter is over half full, Max is easily able to snatch Alden in the air and makes a "Ta-da!" in the end, proud of himself. If it isn't, Max ends up crashing onto Alden, and he falls right into a concrete mixer, getting encased in a block of concrete.

(Phase 4 just repeats the first phase, but the intro is from Phase 2.)

The three endings are as follows:

Best Ending: If the player succeeds in all of the phases, Max gets back home safely with Alden and his owner comes home with not one, but multiple fishes for him to eat, much to his joy. A brief scene shows him shushing Alden to keep this all a secret. It ends with them dreaming of Alden riding on Max in a field.

Normal Ending: If the player passed or failed at least one phase, Max gets back home safely with Alden and his owner comes home with a big, juicy fish for him to eat. He is satisfied with it, and the last scene shows him shushing Alden to keep this all a secret.

Poor Ending: If the player failed all the phases but still finishes the level, Max gets back home safely with Alden and his owner comes home...Only for her to realize she forgot to buy the fish she promised to Max, much to his dismay. The last scene shows a distraught Max crying over not getting a reward for all the hassle he went through, while Alden laughs.

Worst Ending: If the Elite-O-Meter reaches zero before the song ends, Max gets spotted by a worker (who doesn't even notice Alden) and kicked out of the construction site, with Alden still inside and in danger, as a disheartened Max slumps on the street.
